Professional Editing in Silhouette Studio: Enhance Your Images with Ease!

Did you know that you can enhance your images professionally in Silhouette Studio for printing? 😱
Yes, you can!

I discovered this about a month ago and it has benefitted my business so much and I thought I have to share this with you guys, my fellow Crafters and Designers!

This feature/panel can enhance your images for :
Sticker printing
Cards printing
Sublimation Printing

Here are some examples of color-enhanced images done in Silhouette Studio:
Sublimation images enhanced in Silhouette Studio

Sticker/Bookmark image enhanced in Silhouette Studio

Black Woman image enhanced in Silhouette Studio to make a Card

Amazing right!

You can do this too, it will surely work for you.

But what I have understood is that any of the versions have the ability to enhance your images, but only with the Silhouette Studio Business Edition you can save your images as png files.
You can get it here with only 1-time payment.

The enhancement panel is the 6th on the panelboard.
I am using the 3rd that looks like the sun.🔆

Color Contrast is the difference in brightness between foreground and background colors.

Color Saturation is the intensity of color in an image.
As the saturation increases, the colors appear to be more pure. When the saturation decreases, the colors appear to be more washed-out or pale.

Always select your image before starting with moving the Brightness, Contrast, and Saturation buttons.

Here is the video on how I enhanced my pictures.

Let me know in the comments if you will try this feature and what you will use it for.
Thank you so much for reading, be sure to subscribe to my blog for more cute ideas and tutorials.

Hello, It's Me Again

Hello, Crafters and Designers, this is me Saskia Agrang from Poui Designs.

As you can see, I have been a blogger for 7 years. Wow!

I started blogging about crafts and foods when 2 years after I arrived in the USA.

I wanted to showcase the foods, that I cooked and how I did it.

At that time our family consisted of 4 members, now 7. How time flies! lol

After member number 5 was born, I started sewing.

My Little Pony got me inspired to sew cloth pony plushies. I did that for 5 years.

It was one of the best times in my life because I enjoyed it so much. I got to join other sewists from other states in Facebook groups and learn from them. My main sales point was eBay. There I was able to accept custom orders in my dm and payment thru Paypal. Oh, what a time! After my family expanded I started to look for something to do that would make me money while I'm busy taking care of my babies. So. I found about svg cut files.

Creating and selling SVG files, gave me the freedom that I needed at that time of my life. I started drawing African American kids' images and turned them into svg cut files for Cricut and Silhouette studio. My customer base was and is still awesome. Then I learned about something called "Sublimation"!

Sublimation has changed my life on a whole other level. The fact that you can print any image to any qualified substrate is amazing. My company,Poui Designs, carries sublimation paper, sublimation ink, and several sublimation blanks. In the meantime I started a Youtube channel, Crafting With Poui Designs.

I thought I would tell you what is going on in my life and where I have been.

I am thinking of blogging more over here with my Sublimation Crafts, but I will see how I can make that happen.

Great to catch up with you again, and bye for now . :)

Pony Plush Horn Tutorial

This is how I make my Pony horns.

2. I sew over  the lines. See that on mink the piles go downward. The stretch is horizontally.
3. I turn the fabric to the right side and place it on a piece of embroidery stabilizer. It  enforces the stitch unto the fabric

4. I satin stitch (zig zag on a high density) these lines.
5. I cut off the stabilizer to be able to fold/bend the fabric to sew.

6. I fold the horn and pin it down and sew .

7.I turn it inside out and stuff it

8.I sew it   into a circle and pull on the thread to close it.

9. I place it on the pony head andsew it around in a circle ,until it is establish firmly and tie a not and cut it off.

This was a quick tutorial about how I make my pony plush horns.
Feel free to leave questions in the comment area.
Thank you. :)

HOW TO MAKE STURDY EARS FOR STUFFED ANIMALS

How to Make Sturdy Plushies Ears

This is how I make my pony plushies' ears sturdy so they are not flabby and hang down.
You'll need:
1. the ear you've sown out of fabric
2. A piece of fabric(make sure the ear can fit on it properly)
3. A piece of embroidery stabilizer.

Place all three items under each other like this.

Sew the stack and cut it out like this.

Turn them inside out. Your ears are ready to be sewn onto your plushie.

You can also substitute one of them with batting. If you don't want to spend money on batting, you use the stabilizer or just 2 pieces of fabric on top of each other.
With this technique, you can make your plushies' ears sturdy and cute.

With this technique, I made the ears of these plushies

Our Great Miracle

Our Great Miracle

Can I ask the neighbor to take us to the doctor? asked my husband.  No,you don't have to,I said.I don't want to bother anybody,  I thought. At that time my stomach was killing me. Every night at a certain time my stomach would hurt, Let's say around 3 o'clock in the morning. It would start hurting for longer than a hour. To be honest with you I thought I would die and mind you, I was 7 months pregnant. And my doctor cancelled the appointment so I had to wait for a whole week.
Finally the day of my appointment was here and I got to see the doctor.

It was October 17, 2008.I woke up in the morning ,took a bath, dressed and told my husband that if he didn't hear me in the house anymore that means I've left.
So, a few minutes later the cab came(A cab picked me up for every appointment)I stepped in ,signed the voucher and we left.We drove like half an hour to the clinic at the 21st Street. This clinic is more visited by Hispanic people so a lot of Spanish is spoken there. I signed in and after a couple of minutes I was called inside the doctor's office. My case manager was also there, a lovely lady. She said hi and asked me how things where going.

Not so fine I said. I've been sick for a whole week and I don't know exactly what's wrong with me.The assistant came and took my blood pressure. How is it,I asked. It's high, she answered. But you always told me it was good when I came here . Are you really sure that it wasn't high the other times I came here? It was never high, she said.

How are you doing today, asked the doctor. Not so well ,she's been having stomach pains,my case manager said. Hmmm? Tell me, how long have you been having this? From Sunday until last night, was my answer. You know what, I'll send you to the Women Hospital, and she gave me a letter. Okay, doctor I said, not knowing how serious my situation was.My case manager called another cab which came 15 minutes later.

We drove to downtown.I didn't know where the hospital was located at and neither did the cabdriver. He was asking me!After a minute he said,Oh I know.

Finally ,we found the place ,I got out and went into the building. The receptionist was very friendly.Such an attitude helps you to calm down, when you don't know what's happening to you.How can I help you today?she asked.I have this and I showed her the letter. Ok fill this form out and follow me. We went into a room.she gave me a cup to urinate in and a hospital gown to put on. Put this on and wait here, she said.
Wanna know what happened that day, look out for my next blog on "Miracle
